It is with great pleasure that
we announce the strategic alliance between the Paranoia
Horror Film Festival and The Los Angeles Film School! As of
a result of the event now taking place at your location, we
are excited to also announce the inclusion of the LA Film
School awards to best Short and Full Length features
submitted by LA Film School students! As a result of the
inclusion of the new awards, we are offering late
submissions from LA Film School students (both current
students & alumni), at a 50% off current submission rates.
The rate would be $20 for shorts, and $25 for features. The
submission cutoff date for these submissions is, April 30,
2010. Thank you for your consideration, and we are excited
see your submissions, and we are excited to be working in
conjunction with LA Film!!
RULES:
GENRE ELIGIBILITY
Paranoia seeks feature-length
& short films in the genre of:
• Horror, Supernatural
• Sci-Fi
• Crime, Thriller, Suspense
• Cult, Bizarre, Genre-defying,
Experimental
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
SHORT FILM
• Run time of between 1 and 59
minutes
• Must be send to us on DVD
• Films in a language other
than English must be subtitled in English
FEATURE FILM
•
Run time of 60 minutes or longer
• Only the winning feature will
be featured at our Premier
• Must be sent to us on DVD
• Films in a language other
than English must be subtitled in English
GENERAL RULES
Submissions Rules:
Paranoia Horror and Sci-Fi Convention & Film Festival
accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of entries
during shipment to or from Paranoia Horror and Sci-Fi
Convention & Film Festival.
1. Films must be RECEIVED BY
May 5, 2010 (not postmarked by) to be in considered for the
submission period and entry fee.
2. Entrants must submit one (1)
DVD (Region 0 or 1) viewing copy for consideration.
3. All entries must be in
English or contain English subtitles.
4. Exceptions to the festival
regulations must be authorized by one of the Festival
Directors.
